Delhi Public School reverberated with enthusiasm during celebration of the harvest festival – Baisakhi. The festival of Baisakhi symbolizes the happiness of farmers and the arrival of New Year. It was celebrated in a traditional way to acquaint the students with the culture of Punjab .The house incharge of Raman House Ms.Satwant kaur along with her house members left no stone unturned to mark the celebrationof the event. Students celebrated festival of Baisakhi enthusiastically. Children dressed in ethnic costumes and accessories gave their special presentation on the Punjabi dance Bhangra. They revealed their enthusiasm and delight for the festival. The Vice Principal of the school , Ms. Kanika Gupta told that although the festival of Baisakhi is known by many names in different regions yet it communicates the spirit of religious harmony and solidarity among all people. Director- Principal of school Mr.S.K Sharma wished everyone on this occasion & showered blessings on behalf of members of the Managing Committee.
