Students of Delhi Public School, Ambala celebrates Grandparents Day “No one can do what grandparents do for young children. Grandparents shower affection on the lives of young children.” Delhi Public School Ambala celebrated Grandparents Day in honor of grandparents as they are the greatest treasures of the family, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest story tellers and keepers of tradition. On this special day, the students got acquainted with their feelings by performing songs and dances. The act performed by the students showcased the special bond they shared with their grandparents. The grandparents also shared some mesmerizing moments and relived their childhood with grandchildren. Students made cards, photo frames and collages for their lovely grandparents and gifted them as a symbol of love. The Principal of the school, Ms. Amita Dhaka, congratulated the grandparents and grandchildren on their special day. She encouraged the students to respect and be grateful to their grandparents as they are the strong foundation of every family.
