Delhi Public School Ambala celebrates Teacher's Day on 5 September every year to honor teachers in the field of education. Teacher’s day marks the birth anniversary of birthday of former President of the country, scholar, philosopher, teacher and Bharat Ratna awardee Dr. Radhakrishnan Sarvepalli. The students of the school organized Teacher's Day celebrations to show their respect and love for their teachers. The students displayed their artistic talent by making beautiful cards, singing songs in their melodious voices for all the teachers to show their gratitude and appreciation for the teachers. Senior students made Teacher's Day even more special by writing messages, poems and slogans for the teachers. Apart from showing their appreciation for their teachers, the students shared the attractive qualities of their teachers. All the teachers were overwhelmed by their efforts.In this regard the school Principal Ms.kanika Gupta has once again been conferred as Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Award for the Best Principal organised by the Brave Souls .The award was presented by Mr.Kartikey Sharma who is Member of Parliament and Mr.Abhijay Chopra owner of Punjab kesari for her remarkable contribution in imparting all the levels of education . The school mangement,director sir Sh.Suresh Kumar Sharma and Vice principal of school, Ms.Kanika Gupta congratulated all the teachers and motivated all the teachers to contribute more towards the nation.
