An auspicious tree plantation week was organized in Delhi Public School, Ambala to create an awareness regarding global warming and its adverse effect on us. A great variety of herbal plants were planted in the school’s Herbal Garden and periphery of the school playground to create an awareness about saving trees. The enthusiastic students participated in various activities like coloring, painting, collage, poster making, drawing, slogan making, English declamation and street play.The students pledged to plant as many trees as possible near their areas so as to create a very healthy environment and contribute in minimizing the climatic changes. The Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka appreciated the honest efforts of the children for a noble cause and saving the mother Earth.
